Hello, my name is Laura Lee. I am a native of Chicago Illinois and have been working in the makeup industry for the past 16 years.

In the '80s I was involved in the music industry, which was a fun time for makeup and a chance to play. I was infatuated with what can be achieved with makeup.

 Later in the ‘90s, I toyed with the idea of becoming a makeup artist, but still had a lot on my plate, however in 2005 I had the opportunity to meet and learn from Leslie Christin of CARA cosmetics and got a running start from there. I have a deep appreciation for all kinds of beauty, mostly where others can’t see it in themselves.

 I am experienced in film, television, video and print media. I keep ahead of industry advancements by continuing my education in the makeup industry, because there is always more to learn.  I bring a positive and realistic approach to makeup while keeping an enthusiastic attitude in each new venue that I work in. I pride myself on being reliable and committed to my work. I am known for being flexible, to step into other areas of production when needed, and lending to a team atmosphere on set.
